As I've mentioned before, I have a major weakness for wood. From my wooden cufflinks to my Komono Gold Wood watch, along with a wooden phone case, I love the look of it and the style it gives anything you wear. I also happen to have some wood effect sunglasses, but we all know that that just isn't as good as the real thing.
Due to this, I've put together a little wooden sunglasses wish list that encompasses all wallet sizes.
I will start off cheap and move up from there...
These are a great introduction to wooden sunglasses. It may only be the frames that are wooden, and the wood may only be bamboo, but it's a new take on the classic wayfarer style that we all know and love. They're not too bold or out-there, however they add enough style for you to break away from the pack and look good whilst doing so.
P&Co. - Bamboo Sunglasses
Here's the first of the fully-wooden frame sunglasses and the first to come with a wooden box. It's still bamboo and so they are quite light in colour but they are damn nice. The box is a great addition too, especially as it'll be engraved with a number out of 50, as there are only 50 pairs being made. But there are only 9 left so don't take too long to think about it.

So Proof is an American started wooden sunglasses company thaat was started out by three brothers who grew up in a family who owned a wood business. But they decided to something more with the wood and I'm happy they did. It's a pretty cool story (click here). Anyway, back to the point at hand, the glasses are awesome. They come in many designs, types of wood, and prices.

This is the company that actually began my obsession with wooden accessories. I've followed them for a few years now but I still can't justify spending my money on a pair (yet). I've only picked one style they do but they do six in total, all in many types and combinations of wood. You can choose polarized lenses if you wish and add this wooden box too.
For the really deep pockets, Shwood has even branched out into making stone sunglasses. Yes, you heard. Stone... You can have stone on your face... It'll look good too.

My personal favourite has to be Shwood, it's simply an amazing company with some phenomenal craftsmanship. You can buy them in the UK but it's actually more expensive than paying shipping yourself, plus you don't get the same selection. Overall, they are absolutely stunning pairs of sunglasses... but they are expensive, especially if you want a case for them.
So if I were to have to choose on the basis of money and practicality, I would go for the P&Co bamboo sunglasses. Although lighter than my average wood style, they are well made and cheap for what they are (considering you get the box for free). Alongside this, if you get a pair, you will have one of only fifty in the world. That's pretty cool.
