Meet the beautiful collaboration between White Mountaineering and adidas Originals. The classic Stan Smith style has (yet again) been reinterpreted for Spring/Summer 2015 to appeal to another set of people. Yes, we all loved the adidas x Raf Simons Onix Stan Smith but who has £240 to spend on that?! These will be cheaper and I believe that they are even better.
Plain white trainers have to be a menswear essential. Granted, I have never owned a pair of plain white trainers, but after finding these, that fact is going to be changing soon. White trainers, if you own a good pair, work with everything from shorts during summer, to jeans, black trousers and chinos. They are basically the king of casual shoes.
What the hell is happening to me? I used to hate white shoes and I used to hate flat soles. Hell, I used to hate trainers. Suddenly I almost have more trainers than I have 'normal' shoes. I know personal styles change but this is getting ridiculous.
What really has me sold on these is how clean they are (not in terms of dirt). They are impressively simple, whilst still featuring the ever-important small details. You guys know how much I love the little details, but what you may not know is that I have an obsession with anything and everything geometric. The White Mountaineering x adidas Originals Stan Smith are set for a drop date of May 16 from White Mountaineering stockists and May 30th from selected adidas Originals locations (hopefully the London store).
