Goodwood Festival of Speed with SEAT

Saturday, 18 July 2015

It would be a lie if I told you that I am a petrol head or car enthusiast. If I got through life without owning anything with a V8, I wouldn't be that disappointed. This is not to say that cars are lost on me, driving is something I thoroughly enjoy and car design is certainly appreciated. All of this led to excitement when SEAT asked me to come along to the Goodwood Festival of Speed with them.

The beauty of the invite was that it had no conditions based on me taking photos and posting it up on here (this is all my own doing). Instead the idea was to go there and be giving a GoPro for the day so I could vlog my day for them to use. Count me in.

I thought I would still post something though. I didn't get a huge amount of photos (more analogue than digital) and focused on simply enjoying the day, which is incredibly rare within the blogging community. However the day was phenomenal, making me think to post up the few photos I took and urge you to head to Goodwood Festival of Speed if you can next year.

For the entire day I was by myself; granted I had people to talk to from  SEAT, but largely I was on a solo wander. I still arrived at 8am and left at 6pm - this is a seriously good event as I wasn't bored for a second. I barely even stopped for food.

Here are a few photos of cars from the day, but if you want to see me, head over to my YouTube channel to see my vlog from the day, then over to SEAT's YouTube channel to see their cut.

If you head to Goodwood next year then let me know, I'm definitely going again!

Cheers guys,
Robert.
