#100HAPPYDAYS

Sunday, 15 June 2014

Due to humans being the most highly evolved species on the planet and thanks to our greatest 'asset', the brain, we have the unique ability to focus on the bad. No other creatures do that and why should we? Although I am honestly a happy person overall yet I am guilty of letting small things annoy me and allowing only the big things make me happy. 100 Happy Days is here to help us fight this.

About three weeks ago I successfully completed the #100HappyDays challenge and I loved it. In case you didn't already know, the basic idea of this is to submit a picture of what has made you happy every day for 100 days.

If you ever overlook the small things that have the potential to make you smile then I implore you to partake in this challenge. I'm not saying it will change your life but it will change at least 100 days of it (if you complete it that is).

Yes, you will have a few days where your happy moments will be pictures of food or you will feel like you have to really stretch to find something worthy of a picture. But you will also end up with many days filled with genuine happiness and you will find yourself noticing the smaller things that you'd usually forget or not even see in the first place.

Even three weeks later, I still have moments when I think that if I hadn't already finished the challenge then that would have been my picture for the day. I do that so often that I'm going to start it again.

Here are 18 of the best photos from my 100 days:
I challenge you to start and complete the #100HappyDays challenge and please tell me how it goes. You won't regret it.

Cheers guys,

O&U.
