Opening Ceremony takes its name and mission statement from the modern Olympic Games, taking a multinational approach to retail. Each year, they transform each store into a showcase for a visiting country, creating a marketplace for exotic souvenirs and international talent. This is a concept that I have never come across before and have really taken to. Sometimes stores become lacklustre and repetitive, whereas Opening Ceremony will be fresh every year.
This is no one-trick pony however, as Opening Ceremony also have their own in-house clothing line that is pretty damn sweet. I would definitely recommend checking out both their site and their clothing (see some below).
Cheers guys,
O&U.
