Superdry x IDRIS*

Superdry is a brand that I have always loved, in a way. Maybe it's because I grew up in the heyday of the Superdry Windcheater (with more zips than could have ever been practical), or it could be because I love their quality and attention to detail, but whatever the reason is, it is a brand that will always have a place in my heart. On the other hand, my style these days has definitely moved toward the unbranded look. I avoid large logos like the plague and writing is mostly a no-go. The introduction of the IDRIS collection fills a void; Superdry quality without the hefty branding.

When it came to picking items from the collection, I found myself seriously spoiled for choice. My main aim was to go for a coat, after knowing that both Jordan (www.jordanbunker.uk) and Joey (www.joeylondon.co.uk) were big fans of the coats they have from the collection. It really wasn't an easy choice but I landed with the Classic Rogue Trench Coat, and I find myself wearing it almost daily. In the spirit of honesty, the first trench coat I received split at the shoulder seam on the first day, which sucked. However, this is definitely not indicative of bad quality as the next was, and still is, absolutely perfect, whilst receiving some of the most pain-free customer service to sort out the issue (always a bonus).

Overall quality of both the shirt and the coat is top-notch. The shirt itself is so good that I decided to buy one for my brother for Christmas, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be wearing this coat for a fair few years. Both are timeless styles and look brilliant whether smart or casual (how I like my clothes), so easily worth the investment.

This is easily one of my favourite outfits ever. Classic, clean and a little lop-sided on the inseam, apparently. Pairing up the Classic Rogue Trench Coat and Director Oxford Shirt with some selvedge denim and Jack Purcell's just seemed like a pretty damn good idea, and I'm hoping you agree.

If you're looking for a new coat, shirt, or maybe simply looking for clothes in general, definitely go and have a look at the IDRIS collection from Superdry. It's awesome.

Rob.
